Seizure Action Plan

At The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation®, we feel it is essential to put together a seizure action plan for anyone who is battling epilepsy. Many seizure action plans are designed for children to take give to their school nurse and administrators in the event that they have a seizure at school.

The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation® has designed their seizure action plan to be for individuals of all ages. Adults who may live in assistant living or with a roommate need to have a plan in the event of a seizure. Having one at work if you have an employer who is aware of your condition is important so if you have a seizure, they know what to do. Elder people who may be at home being taken care of by a home health aide or living in a senior center need a plan just in case of emergency. Everyone who is battling epilepsy needs to have a plan in place in the event that a seizure happens.
