California Rx Card

California Rx Card is a free statewide prescription assistance program. Launched in 2007, this program helps the uninsured and underinsured in the state of California have access to medication. The California Rx Card is accepted at over 56,000 participating pharmacies including Safeway, Vons, Longs, Raleys, Ralphs, SaveMart, Pavilions, Target, Sav-on, Walgreens, and more. CVS have been named the preferred pharmacy of the program. Anticipated savings can be as high as 75% off some medications. You can obtain a card by going to www.californiarxcard.com.

California Health Advocates

California Health Advocates can help with prescription discounts through government organizations as well as non-profits that advocate for patients with chronic illnesses. America’s Pharmacy

Medicine Assistance Tool

PhRMA’s Medicine Assistance Tool (MAT) is a search engine designed to help patients, caregivers, and health care providers learn more about the resources available through the various biopharmaceutical industry programs. MAT is not its own patient assistance program, but rather a search engine for many of the patient assistance resources that the biopharmaceutical industry offers.
