Epilepsy Connections Affiliated

Epilepsy Connections Affiliated or “ECA” is a non-profit charity and support group that links other epilepsy organizations from all over the world into 1 central location. The ECA was founded by Paul Lang who has battled epilepsy for twenty years.

ROW Foundation

ROW Foundation exists to improve the lives of people with epilepsy in under-resourced areas of the world. ROW supports training programs for healthcare providers and makes grants of diagnostic equipment and anti-seizure medications, resulting in better care for patients in low and middle-income countries.

The Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP™)

The Resilience-Building Leader Program (RBLP™)’s mission is to identify and certify people that are ready to build resilient teams and lead them in a challenging environment. Our Giving Back program helps to certify front-line supervisors, middle managers, and senior leaders at selected charitable nonprofit organizations, in the United States at no cost. We practice corporate social responsibility so that organizations like The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation® can help to make a difference and make a positive impact.

The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation® is a recipient of a Google Grants award. The Google Grants program supports registered nonprofit organizations that share Google’s philosophy of community service to help the world in areas such as science and technology, education, global public health, the environment, youth advocacy, and the arts. Triad Epilepsy Network is a support group that holds monthly support group meetings on the first Thursday of every month. The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation takes part and supports Triad Epilepsy Network for their advocacy work.

Seizure Action Plan Coalition

Seizure Action Plan Coalition is managed by the Epilepsy Alliance of America. The Seizure Action Plan Coalition advocates to make sure all individuals with epilepsy, children and adults have a seizure action plan to keep them safe when seizure activity takes place.

Abilities Expo

The Defeating Epilepsy Foundation® is proud to take part in the Abilities Expo, a free event that helps those with disabilities gain access to valuable resources.
